Each "Double Bambu" ball is made up of 2 strands of Sillk City Fiber Bambu 7, 100% Bamboo fiber.
Intended for hand-knitting, we re-wind this into 2.8 oz balls of approx 163 yards each. Each ball is wound over a central core and enclosed in a drawstring organza bag. Keep the yarn in the bag and knit by pulling the strands through the drawstring. It works great to keep away the tangles!
Knitting gauge is approximately 30 stitches and 34 rows = 4" (10cm) using US size 3 (3.25 mm) needles in Stockinette Stitch. Ready for knitting any of our related patterns.
A single strand of this yarn is similar to 5/2 cotton. Our doubled strands can speed the warping process.
