In this 2-hour class you will cover all the basics of double knitting including two-color cast on and bind off, an easy technique for tidy edges, how to read the charts, and tips for yarn management.  The heart chart provided in class can be used to create a coaster or the motif can be repeated to make a scarf.

Skill Level: Students must be comfortable knitting, purling, and working a long-tail cast on.

Materials: Worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors; US size 8 needles (or appropriate size for your yarn).

You can sign up to bring your own materials, or you can choose to include appropriate yarn and materials in your class purchase. If you purchase materials as part of class, you will be able to choose from available colors at the beginning of your class. The yarn that will be included is Galway Worsted from Plymouth Yarn.
