Class size: 5 - 16 students
Have you been away from weaving for a while? Did your beginning weaving class just not click? Whether you're a rigid heddle weaver or a multi-shaft weaver, this is the workshop for you! Whether you're new to weaving or a seasoned student everyone can benefit from a refresher course.
Deb Essen, owner and designer of dje handwovens and the author of Easy Weaving with Supplemental Warps is visiting Fiber Rhythm from her home in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana to share her expertise and passion for weaving with the Portland Handweaving community.
In this class Deb will review selecting yarns, calculating warp and weft, parts of the loom, how to wind a good warp, and other tips for happy weaving.
