Are you new to spinning, and curious to explore the myriad of fiber prep options? Do you love to play with color, or want to try blending different fibers together? What does it mean to “paint” with wool?

This fun workshop will begin with an introductory lesson on how to use a fiber blending board to make rolags for spinning. Next, we’ll have ample time together to practice the techniques and try out a range of material add-ins. Previous fiber experience not required.

Skill Level: No experience required.

Materials provided: Students will be provided with a board to practice on (in class) and an assortment of accent materials. (Boards may be shared, depending on enrollments).

Please bring: Please bring 2-4oz of combed top/wool roving of your choice. Either solid or multi-color wool is just fine.
