Rigid Heddle Weaving Lessons
A rigid heddle loom is a great way to get started on your weaving. Students will learn how to calculate yardage, directly warp the loom with a warping peg, and get the weaving started at the first session. Our second session will cover weave structures, finishing and uses of your woven fabric.
This class is taught in 2 lessons of 2-hours each. It can be taught as a private one-on-one lesson, or you can sign up your friends at the same time and create a private group class for a discounted price.
Select the number of students first, and then book your class times. When you book these lessons, you will be asked to select the dates and times for both sessions before purchasing. We suggest that you book them about 1 week apart to allow time to complete weaving homework in between lessons.
Please contact us if you need a date or time that is not offered in the date picker, as Susan may be able to accommodate your request.
Please note: You select your booking times from a pop-up window. If you are not allowing pop-ups on your browser, please give us a call and we can assist you.
Your confirmation will include calendar invites. When you put the event on your calendar, they will have links in them that you can use to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations will be refunded if completed at least one week prior to your scheduled date. Rescheduling or cancelling applies to the entire group for these private lessons.
If you need to add a loom rental for your class, we do offer 2-week loom rentals which work great for this class. Options include: The Sample It Loom and the Knitter's Loom. Rentals are limited.
