A rigid heddle loom is a great way to get started on your weaving. Students will learn how to calculate yardage, directly warp the loom with a warping peg, and get the weaving started at the first session. Our second session will cover weave structures, finishing and uses of your woven fabric.
This is a two lesson, 2-hours each, private, one-on-one, in person class at Fiber Rhythm. Teachers are vaccinated. Students must show a vaccination card upon arrival.
The Rigid Heddle Weaving class is set up as two 2-hour lessons. We will contact you via email to schedule your private lesson dates and times with our weaving teacher, Susan Plack.
If you need to add a loom rental to your order, please select that option. Loom rental is for 2-week use of an Ashford 12" Knitter's Loom and related accessories, including a carrying case.
For those who are renting a loom as part of the class, the rental is for 2 weeks. Additional time must be authorized and paid for separately.
