Lisa has a Bachelors degree in Apparel Design and has spent the last 15+ years in different areas of the fashion industry. She loves to travel, experience other places, and especially see the fiber and craft techniques around the world! She is a maker at her core, and teaching people to make things has become a passion. She has been teaching fashion sewing & design classes for 15 years, and machine knitting classes almost as long in Portland. She loves introducing people to the world of knitting machines, helping them through the rather steep learning curve so they can be more successful and have more fun on their knitting machines.
Lisa loves creating interesting textures on the knitting machines, especially with tuck stitches, and using unique fibers. She's recently had fun creating her own punch card designs using a Cricut machine rather than punching them by hand.
