Creating Punch Cards on the Cricut with Lisa

Do you love knitting with punch cards, but are tired of the cards that came with your knitting machine? Have you been thinking of new designs? Whether you create the designs yourself or found designs in a book or online, learn how to make your own punch cards on the Cricut!

Lisa will walk you through the process, in-person at Fiber Rhythm using the Cricut Machine in our Craft Space. Handout included for future use! 

Template plastic is required to make the punch cards, we have some available for purchase.  Plastic binder file dividers work for shorter designs, and are often colorful!  You will also need to have your own Cricut account, and select the Cricut Explore Air 2 (Explore Series) when prompted to choose your Cricut product. 

Lessons are per hour, which is usually enough to learn the process. You may want to rent Craft Space time on the Cricut afterwards to make your punch cards! 

We will be using Brenda A. Bell's punch card generator. Feel free to read through the process, and if you have a design already, you can create the text file she describes and bring it on a thumb drive.  We can also do that process together if you want assistance.
