Ute has been passionate about fiber arts for over 45 years, exploring everything from knitting and sewing to spinning and felting. Knitting remains her favorite, thanks to its portability and the way it transforms idle moments—like car rides—into enjoyable, productive time.
She especially enjoys helping others grow their knitting skills, whether they’re ready to tackle socks, hats, or sweaters, or want to explore techniques like cabling, stranded colorwork, or new stitch patterns.
Ute is experienced in teaching both adults and children (middle school age and up) and offers instruction for individuals or private groups.
