A rigid heddle loom is a great way to get started on your weaving. Students will learn how to calculate yardage, directly warp the loom with a warping peg, and get the weaving started at the first session. Our second session will cover weave structures, finishing and uses of your woven fabric.
This is a two lesson, group class in Fiber Rhythm's 2nd floor classroom. The first class is 2-1/2 hours, and the second is 2 hours. Classes are scheduled one week apart so that you can weave in between classes.
Skill Level: Beginner
Please Bring: Rigid Heddle loom with all parts and attachments including heddle/reed, warping and weaving accessories, worsted weight project yarn. Complete materials list will be supplied prior to class.
If you need to add a loom rental for your class, we do offer 2-week loom rentals which work great for this class. Options include: The Sample It Loom and the Knitter's Loom. Rentals are limited.
