Wheel Spinning Lessons

Spinning on a wheel can often be a faster way to create larger quantities of yarn for a project. At our first class, you will learn the basics of how your wheel works and how to treadle your wheel while spinning yarn (making singles). At session two, we will take those singles and make them into a plied yarn. We will also discuss finishing your yarn so that it’s ready to be used in your next project. 

This class is taught in 2 lessons of 2-hours each. It can be taught as a private one-on-one lesson, or you can sign up your friends at the same time and create a private group class for a discounted price. 

Select the number of students first, and then book your class times. When you book these lessons, you will be asked to select dates and times for both sessions before purchasing. We suggest that you book them about 1 week apart to allow time to complete spinning homework in between lessons.

Your confirmation will include calendar invites. When you put the events on your calendar, they will have links in them that you can use to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations will be refunded if completed at least one week prior to your scheduled date. Rescheduling or cancelling applies to the entire group for these private lessons.

If you need to add a spinning wheel rental for your class, we do offer 2-week Spinning Wheel rentals which work great for this class, as long as classes are scheduled within the 2-week time period.
