Granny Squares 101 Group Class

Granny squares are absolutely everywhere and can be used to make so many fun things! Together, we will learn the basics of this versatile building block used for crocheted blankets, garments, and accessories.

During this two-hour hands-on class, we will go over all the basic skills you need to make a granny square, including crocheting in the round, the magic circle, increasing stitches, and working double crochet stitches. You'll leave with as many granny squares as you want to make, to be used as coasters or as a larger project in Granny Squares 102.

This class is perfect for the adventurous beginner looking to level up their crocheting skills. Must already know how to chain and single crochet.

Please bring:

• Your favorite yarn (multiple colors are encouraged but not required)
• Appropriate hook for your yarn
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
