Have you always wanted to knit those fabulous cabled patterns? Learn the basics of knitting cables in this introductory class.
Using a fingerless mitt as the basis for the class, you will learn how to work the cables and to read cable charts. A free pattern for the mitt is included. Class time is spent casting on, reading a cable chart, and knitting as many rows of cable as time permits. You will finish the mitt on your own time, at home. Makes a beautiful and useful gift.
Prerequisite techniques: Cast on, knit, purl, and knit in the round on double-pointed needles.
