Machine Knitting on the SK280

Private one-on-one lessons, in-person at Fiber Rhythm using the Silver Reed SK280 standard gauge machine in our Craft Space.

Lessons can be tailored to students' needs. We can cover what first-time machine knitters need to know and more advanced topics. Please let us know what topic you'd like to cover, especially if it is something other than an introduction.

Materials are provided for practice and testing the machine. If you are working on a project you'll need to bring your own yarn, or if you simply want to test out yarn you have. If your yarn is not suitable, we will revert to acrylic yarn we keep in-house for classes and testing. 

Lessons are scheduled by the hour.  For an introductory lesson 2 hours is recommended to ensure sufficient time.
