Ribbing 101 (knitting machine)

So you're feeling confident with the flat bed knitting machine and are ready for more? Have you tried hand-manipulated ribbing? Looks great, but takes a lot of time. That's why the ribber exists! It's an additional knitting bed that attaches to the main bed. One knits, the other purls, with each pass of the carriage!

Private one-on-one lessons, in-person at Fiber Rhythm using our Craft Space standard gauge SK280 (knitting bed)+SRP60 (ribber). We can start at the very beginning, including how to set up and attach the ribber. Then go over different types of ribbing, how to set up the machine, and knit. 

Materials are provided for practice and testing the machine. If you want to test out yarns you have, feel free to bring them. If your yarn is not suitable, we will revert to acrylic yarn we keep in-house for classes and testing.
