Time: One 2-hour session

NEXT CLASS: Tuesday, August 18, at 6:00 pm.
Learn how to do Tunisian crochet in the round to make hats, sleeves, cowls, and more! We will go over several methods of doing Tunisian in the round, including using a double-ended hook and two balls of yarn as well as using a hook with a long cord and one ball of yarn. Students will go home with patterns for a basic beanie and a cowl.
Prerequisite techniques: Must already be familiar with basic Tunisian crochet techniques and stitches.
Materials Needed:
- Size 4/worsted yarn of choice in 2 contrasting colors (approx. 100 yds each), OR size 4/worsted yarn of choice in 1 color (approx. 250 yds)
- Double-ended Tunisian crochet hook Size US K (6.5mm), OR a Tunisian hook (Size US K) with a 16-inch or longer extender cable
- Size US K (6.5mm) traditional crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
