Tunisian Crochet 102 Group Class

Learn how to do Tunisian crochet in the round to make hats, sleeves, cowls, and more! We will go over several methods of doing Tunisian in the round, including using a double-ended hook and two balls of yarn as well as using a hook with a long cord and one ball of yarn. Students will go home with patterns for a basic beanie and a cowl.

Prerequisite techniques: Must already be familiar with basic Tunisian crochet techniques and stitches.

Materials Needed:

• Size 4/worsted yarn of choice in 2 contrasting colors (approx. 100 yds each), OR size 4/worsted yarn of choice in 1 color (approx. 250 yds)
• Double-ended Tunisian crochet hook Size US K (6.5mm), OR a Tunisian hook (Size US K) with a 16-inch or longer extender cable
• Size US K (6.5mm) traditional crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
