Knitted Washcloths Group Class

Are you looking for something to knit that does not require a complicated pattern but is fun and practical? In this class, we will knit a beautiful dishcloth that is equally as fun to use as it is to gift. Most knitters will accomplish a substantial part of the project in class, but may need to finish afterwards at home.

Prerequisite techniques: You must already know how to cast on stitched, knit, and purl.

Skills taught in this class:

• Yarn overs
• Kfb increase
• Reading a basic knitting chart

Materials Needed:

• 1 skein (approx. 100 yards) worsted weight cotton
• US size 6 or 8 knitting needles (depending on whether you favor a loose or a dense cloth), or needles to match yarn
• Button (if you want a door knob)
• Darning needle to weave in the ends (optional)
