Class Description
The Out of Many, One Blanket Project is hand-knit using large needles and multiple strands of yarn held together. Blanket squares are joined with an I-cord technique and edging is also done in I-cord. The I-cord creates a beautiful sculptural quality to this unique blanket. Mix and match yarns to create various shades for your blanket squares.
The project consists of a knitting pattern for the blanket along with 8 educational videos and additional print material to help you complete the project as well as to master working with multiples strands of yarn at once.
Appropriate for beginning knitters. We expect you know how to cast-on, bind-off, knit, and purl. Introduces I-cord techniques.
When you purchase this project, you will receive a PDF file with links to the content.
- Eight online videos which cover the techniques used in the blanket (must have internet access to use)
- The hand-knitting pattern (PDF format)
- A Yarn Combination options document (PDF format)
Adobe Reader or another PDF viewer is required to view this project.
When you purchase this as a printed paper pattern, it can be shipped or picked up in store. You will still need to access the videos online.

Project will require yarn and US size 15 knitting needles (not included)
